The Crackberry

I can officially join the I heart my Blackberry fan club. This weekend, I updated my phone service plan and purchased my first Crackberry. I'm so addicted. It's actually a very useful thing to have in this city especially since I'm always in a state of "where am I?" Once you get out of "the grid" and into West Village territory, well, God help you. That's where my Blackberry comes in handy. It's working out quite nice actually. It tells me where to go, what subway I need to take, what the name of that one restaurant is. I love it! I know, I know I shouldn't be attached, but really it is like my own little angel--just guiding me along this crazy city.

The Center of Christmas

Rockefeller Center is AMAZING during the holidays! In fact, the whole city is AMAZING this time of year. I know I already blogged about Christmas in New York, but it's surrounding me and I really can't think to write about anything else. Okay, that's not true. The truth is I don't really want to write about anything else. I love that you can buy a Christmas tree on nearly every block. I love the holiday kaliedoscope show that runs every half hour in Grand Central Station. I love Christmas and I'm loving it in New York. Now before I get too gushy, I'll have my Scrooge moment and say that the crowds here suck--especially in Midtown. Tonight, some girlfriends and I made our way to Rockefeller Center and could barely move--there were soooooooo many people. Anyway, it's to be expected I suppose. Oh, and the tree in the center is as big as it looks on TV. It's huge actually :)

The Neighborhood...

Well all, I finally settled into New York! Have a look at what I see outside my door each day! Lovely, isn't it?!
