Countdown to red and green

My favorite time of year is when the seasons change. Yeah, I enjoy watching nature take its course, watching the leaves change color and fall, but it’s not the weather as much as it is omnipresent energy. There’s anticipation, an excitement for what’s to happen over the next few months. The holiday season always delivers intense energy. Families, friends and strangers come together in ways unimaginable and sometimes when support or comfort is not the easiest thing to give. I wish the feeling would continue all year, but we all know it comes in waves.

In New York, I am sitting right outside a ball of energy that is about to burst. After Thanksgiving it’s all over. I’m already starting to hear holiday music, gaze at elaborate store displays and walk under street-cascading Christmas lights and glowing Snowflakes in the East Village. New York symbolizes many things to many people and to me New York during Christmastime symbolizes spirit.

I have a place to live!!! Yay!!! I'm going to be living in Chelsea with a designer and a sales gal! So exciting! I promise to write more this weekend! I've been so stressed out by the apartment search and work and between the two I haven't had a chance to breathe. Anyway, the search is over! I've found an amazing place, with great people and NOW is the time to experience New York. Good night!
